The high data rates promised by 5G will be facilitated to a large extent by a move to mmWave frequencies, where large bands of contiguous spectrum are available. This presentation describes the design, realisation and evaluation of PAs for a number of the key candidate 5G bands: the European 26GHz Pioneer band and the FCC licensed bands at 28GHz and 39GHz.
